25-30 Minutes Duration
This e-learning module introduces trainees to the purpose and operating principles of positive displacement, reciprocating, diaphragm, rotary, and positive displacement pumps, and their auxiliary systems.
20-25 Minutes Duration
This e-learning module introduces trainees to the purpose, operating principles, components and design of shell-and-tube, pipe coil, double pipe, plate-and-frame, air cooled, and spiral heat exchangers. An overview of heat transfer, fluid flow and heat exchanger applications is also explained.
20-25 Minutes Duration
This e-learning module introduces trainees to the purpose and operating principles of batch, semi-batch, continuously stirred tank, and plug flow reactors.
15-20 Minutes Duration
This e-learning module introduces trainees to the purpose, components, and operating principles of furnaces. Different furnace and blower configurations are discussed, as are basic startup, shutdown, and troubleshooting concepts.
55-60 Minutes Duration
This e-learning module introduces trainees to the definitions and principles of process variables (pressure, temperature, level, and flow) used in industrial applications. Trainees will understand the role of process variables in process control and learn how process variables are classified.
